Mobile phone network Three has just taken stock of the entry level HTC Explorer mobile phone, which arrives with a low set of specifications that is aimed at non-smartphone users.
HTC launched the Explorer at the end of September, with a limited set of features – just as HTC's previous Wildfire and Wildfire devices have always had, where this new model is a directed replacement for those handsets.
The Explorer arrives with a 3.2-inch TFT screen, whilst powered by a 600MHz processor, with 3 megapixel camera and the Android 'Gingerbread' 2.3 OS, with the HTC 3.5 Sense overlay.
Three is carrying the HTC Explorer with 100 minutes, a 5,000 text message bundle and a 500MB data allowance for just £15 a month or on a pay as you go deal for £129.99.
The handset is also around on the Three 'One Plan' with 2,000 minutes, a further 5,000 minutes to any Three phone numbers, a 5,000 text message allowance and the truly unlimited data offering with no caps whatsoever.
