OMR attended an event for the Motorola Xoom 2, which was announced yesterday where we correctly predicted its arrival just a day before - here.

The Xoom 2 will ship with the same 10.1-inch screen size as the original, only with a dual core 1.2GHz processor and the original version had a 1GHz variant.

The original model had 32GB of storage, with the Xoom 2 shipping with just 16GB to make the device more affordable.

Below are images of the Xoom 2, with its 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB and mini HDMI ports along with the tablet being powered on.
