Beleaguered retailer Best Buy is currently selling both the Xbox and the Playstation versions of the just released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 game for an astoundingly low £27.99.
Unfortunately, the company doesn't yet stock the game, which means that users won't be able to reserve and collect or get it home delivered, which is a real shame.
The game is the direct follow up to Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 which was released two years ago. This first person shooter was developed by Infinity Ward & Sledgehammer games with Raven Software also on board.
The game is likely to smash sales records worldwide and should do better than its predecessor, which was still the most played game on Xbox Live almost one year after being released.
By January 2010, less than two months after it went on sale, Modern Warfare 2 reached sales of $1 billion and became the best-selling game on Amazon.
Call of Duty: Black Ops which was the seventh CoD instalment to be released was unveiled last November and surpassed sales of Modern Warfare 2. Black Ops is currently the all-time best-selling game in the country.
