iPhone 4S Rival Alert : Samsung Galaxy Nexus Launch Postponed To December?

After the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime (opens in new tab), it looks as if another device, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus Prime might be delayed as well.

As reported by Android Community, the unlocked version of the handset which was supposed to be launched fairly soon (on the 17th of November) won't be available until the 2nd of December according to Amazon's own product page.

The phone - together with Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) has already been postponed once because of the untimely death of Apple's charismatic CEO, Steve Jobs.

Just because Amazon is changing the release date of the Nexus Prime doesn't necessarily mean that it will be, right; after all, Amazon got the pricing wrong for that smartphone listing it at £750 a few weeks ago (currently at £520).

Then, there's also the fact that neither Samsung nor any mobile phone operator in the UK have yet issued any notices either to the press or any of their fellow distributors.

The phone will be an exclusive in the US on Verizon and will almost certainly be the first phone before the Samsung Galaxy Note to come with an HD screen with 1280x720 pixels.
