Vodafone opens up pre-pre-ordering of Samsung Ice Cream Sandwich based Galaxy Nexus

Mobile phone network Vodafone has opened up the registration page on their website for the SamsungGalaxy Nexus, which will be the first mobile phone to arrive running the very latest Android ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ 4.0 operating system from Google.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus was announced mid-October this year, as the world’s first handset to arrive running Android 4.0 – just as the Google Nexus S arrived running Android ‘Gingerbread’ 2.3, which was made for the Internet search engine giant by Samsung.

Samsung made public at the UK launch event for the handset the mobile would be going on sale on November 17th, where Vodafone has only just opened up the pre-pre-ordering of the phone on their website.

No prices or tariff details have been made public by Vodafone for the Galaxy Nexus, although those who register will be the first to know what the contract costs will actually be.

One Mobile Ring has now published a hands-on walkthrough of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus here, along with a video walkthrough with a senior Google spokesperson here – from the London launch event.
