HTC Android Ice Cream Sandwich ‘thinner than the iPhone’ Ville mobile phone leaked

Popular on-line mobile news and commentary site BGR has obtained details of a yet-to-be-announced HTC mobile phone known as Ville, which reportedly due to be launched at Mobile World Congress in February – with a chassis that is thinner than the iPhone 4S.

Boy Genius Report has obtained details of the HTC Ville, which is said to run from the ‘Android Ice Cream Sandwich’4.0 OS with the HTC Sense 4.0 overlay to that very platform.

HTC ‘s Ville is supposedly containing an 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, whilst powered by a dual core 1.5GHz processor, with an 8 megapixel backside-illuminated camera that is capable of full HD 1080p video capture.

This is all whilst being only 8mm thin, whereas the Apple iPhone 4S comes in at 9.3 millimetres in thickness.

The HTC Ville leaks comes only a short time after another High Tech Computer Corporation mobile phone was leaked, running a quad core Nvida processor.

The HTC Edge, as this other handset is codenamed, will apparently arrive next year too – where One Mobile Ring believes this could be unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Although for a bigger impact, Las Vegas’ CES event in January could be a better launching stage.
