AMNews: Wales Seeks Own Domain Name, Cisco Q1 Results, HTC Ville Specifications Leaked

The majority of people in Wales believe the country should get its own domain name, a new survey has found. According to a survey of businesses and web users in Wales informed that they would like to have a .wales and .cymru domain name instead of using .uk.

Chief Executive of Cisco Systems, John T. Chambers, claims he has successfully and largely finished the task of reshaping the company. After Cisco, which manufactures many of the components needed to run the Internet, declared its fiscal first-quarter results, Chambers commented, "We've taken 4 to 5 inches off our waistline," as reported by the New York Times.

Another of HTC smartphone devices has been leaked, according to new reports. Codenamed HTC Ville, the device will be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, and will feature an ultra thin chassis as well as a Super AMOLED display.

ARM announced this morning the launch of its next generation GPU, the Mali-T658, one that will come after the yet to be launched Mali-T604 and will be ten times more powerful when compared to the mainstream Mali 400 MP which is found inside the Samsung Galaxy S2.
