Supermarket Morrisons is currently offering the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for as little as £25 when you purchase 12 months of Xbox Live subscription (with two months free) for £34.99 (the deal appears to be instore only).
14 months worth of Xbox Live membership costs £29.99 at Best Buy (and that's the cheapest currently available in the UK), which means that the actual cost of the MW3 is £30, a third less than the £45 other retailers, like Game, are charging which is pretty impressive.
In other words, the combined cost of going for the Morrisons' deal is £15 cheaper than having them separately. Obviously, if you are on PS3, this deal will not be available to you.
The game has already managed to become the world's best selling game ever, bringing in a massive $400 million worth of sales in the first 24 hours.
Microsoft also confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 managed to break the record for the most number of gamers simultaneously on Xbox Live.
More than 6.5 million units were sold in the UK and in the US alone, and the game is well on target to smash the $1 billion sales target in less than 60 days.
