Moshi Monsters video game, a console version of the ultra popular website, has now hit store shelves in the UK.
The game, Moshi Monsters: Moshling Zoo, has been launched on Nintendo's highly popular hand held device Nintendo DS, available from retailer GAME. According to an article (opens in new tab)on website Licensing, the game has been on the top of pre-order charts for a long time.
Moshi Monster is an extremely popular online game developed by UK based Mind Candy, which claims the game has more than 50 million users. The game is targeted at kids under the age of 10 and lets them play with cute looking monsters online.
"We're really excited to expand the Moshi Monsters universe into video games for the very first time," said Michael Acton Smith, Mind Candy chief.
GAME is offering a limited edition bundle of the game, which features 1,000 free Rox, the in-game virtual currency, a three day membership, Topps series two trading cards, a set of exclusive trump cards, and an exclusive Moshling toy.
The console game also features new worlds and locations and even a new Moshling called Nipper the Titchy Trundlebot.
