TP-LINK, known for its cost effective networking products, has come up with yet another networking equipment, the TL-WA701ND Wireless Lite N Access Point that has been designed to establish or expand a scalable high-speed wireless N network.
The access point would also allow multiple Ethernet enabled devices such as game consoles, printers, or network attached storage devices to a wireless network. The operating frequency band of the access point is 2.4 GHz and supports a data transfer rate of up to 150 Mbps. The access also supports 802.11b and 802.11g standards on top of 802.11n.
TP-LINK has designed the access point with Align 1-stream technology that provides high-speed wireless performance providing you a better Internet experience when downloading, gaming, video streaming, etc.
Security hasn't been overlooked in the access point and it supports WPA, WPA2 encryption algorithms. Some of the other features of the TL-WA701ND are Wireless Distribution System (WDS) support, Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) support, Multiple SSID support and wireless bridge mode.
The access point is externally powered and comes with a power adapter.
