Another HTC Quad Core CPU leaked

Technology news site Engadget (opens in new tab) has published an image and details of the HTC Zeta, which is said to contain a Quad Core 2.5GHz processor.

Engadget has details (opens in new tab) from a source that has noted the phone has a faster CPU than seen in previous HTC leaks, such as the other Quad Core Edge and the thinner-than-the-iPhone Ville.

The site has noted the HTC codenamed Zeta runs from a 2.5GHz APQ8064 CPU along with 1GB of RAM running the show, on a 4.5-inch 720p HD display.

This is along with a uniquely shaped smartphone that will come with Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed with Sense UI and have 32GB of internal storage space.

There is also Beats Audio, Bluetooth 4.0, an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash, 1080p video capture and a 1.3MP front-facing cam, with the dimensions of 109.8 x 60.9 x 9.8mm and a weight of 146grams.

The leaked image has also sharp corners would be a huge departure from HTC's recent design choices, though it appears to have HTC's signature unibody build in the back.

Engadget has updated their posting, which reads – ‘In our digging since this article was posted, we're confident that this is just simply a cool concept and not an actual device in the works.’
