Juniper Networks Launches Wireless AP for High Density Areas

Networking equipment maker Juniper Networks has dished out a new Wi-Fi solution, WLA532 access point that will boost network capacity in high density areas.

Juniper said that the WLA532 is capable of delivering greater connectivity and bandwidth in areas where traffic is congested like in universities, hospitals and other public places.

Part of Juniper's Simply Connected portfolio, the new Wi-Fi access point has been designed to provide continuous connectivity in times when the Wi-Fi traffic is at its peak; when a lot of users are accessing bandwidth hogging applications from their mobile devices.

"The trend of bringing your own device into the campus or workplace has resulted in an exponential wireless traffic load for IT managers to prepare for. High density, high speed client environments such as universities and hospitals in particular need to enable secure, fast and reliable wireless access," said Steve Troyer, Vice President, Wireless Product Management, Juniper Networks in a press release.

"The WLA532 expands Juniper's wireless enterprise portfolio and gives customers the highest performance and simplest way to connect." he added.

The Wi-Fi access point comes with a complete set of tools capable of providing IT managers total control over the network including bandwidth and interference management, power saving features and security tools.
