Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has claimed that the company's first Windows Phone 7 device has been showered with positive responses.
According to Business Week (opens in new tab), Nokia CEO Stephen Elop said in a press conference following the launch that it had been successful and a lot of positive responses had been coming in.
"The reaction is remarkably positive. We need to introduce the experience to consumers to get them to try it because we know once they try it they will like it", Elop said during a press conference in Barcelona.
Nokia is plannnig to roll out the Lumia 800, the first Nokia Windows Phone 7.5 device, in 6 nations across Europe this month.
NokNok (opens in new tab) has gathered a bunch of positive reviews from various sources which all point to one conclusion, that Nokia has hit the bullseye with the seamless design that comes with the Lumia 800, not to mention the powerful specs that bring the device at par with rivals like the iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
"With positive reviews coming from all corners, it's clear that the Lumia 800 can be counted on the long list of Nokia's most critically acclaimed smartphones to date," NokNok wrote.
