Finnish mobile phone company Nokia has had an upcoming yet-to-be-announced handset leaked in a commercial, aimed at developers.
The 1 minute 15 second video notes the rumoured Nokia Lumia 900 hardware, Microsoft’s OS, development tools, training and support for the platform with a link to developer.nokia.com/windowsphone.
The unreleased Nokia mobile wasn’t addressed by name in the advert, but it does have the appearance of a Finnish mobile phone that was noted to be launched at Nokia World 2011.
This handset carried the codename of the Nokia ‘Ace’, which reportedly contains a 4.3-inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen – a larger version than seen in the 3.7-inch Lumia 8000 version.
The phone shown in the video below does appear to have a much larger screen, where this could actually be a CGI rendition of the unannounced Nokia Lumina 900.
Other specifications of the device are thought to be a 1.4GHz processor, with 16GB of internal storage, an 8 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and HSPA+ connectivity.
One Mobile Ring believes the Nokia ‘Ace’ Lumia 900 won’t be launched by the company this year, as it is more likely the handset will have its first airing at Mobile World Congress in February.
