Pocketnow.com has noted (opens in new tab) that HTC’s CEO Peter Chou revealed the HTC Quattro days ago, where the quad-core HTC Quattro tablet has supposedly been fully detailed.
The site goes on to state: ‘ This 10.1-inch Android-powered slate reportedly has a 1280 x 768 resolution (iPad: 9.7 inches at 1024 x 768), while packing the same AP30 Tegra 3 system-on-a-chip from Nvidia as the rumored HTC Edge smartphone.’
Whilst adding – ‘RAM has been pegged at 1GB, while storage should consist of 16GB internal plus microSD expansion; Bluetooth 4.0, 5GHz Wi-Fi, as well as a full complement of sensors, are also expected.’
‘The sub-nine-millimeter thick Quattro -- a codename, as with most pre-release devices -- is also tipped to be Beats-infused, with a pair each of speakers and microphones intended to enhance audio capture and playback. Curiously, the rear camera may be just a modest two-megapixel job (albeit with full HD video capability), while around front it's looking like a 720p-capable, 1.3-megapixel webcam.’, states Pocketnow.com
And finishing with – ‘Also like Edge, Quattro should be the beneficiary of some new and enhanced services: an HD version of the HTC Watch movie store along with a complementary Dropbox account for more storage and flexibility. Like Flyer and Jetstream before it, Quattro will very likely include (a more feature-rich version of) the HTC Scribe pen input technology’.
