Apple is on the verge of opening its biggest ever store at the Grand Central station this week, a new report has claimed.
According to an article on 9to5mac a video has been uploaded on YouTube which takes viewers on a tour of the store at the Grand Central Station before the construction began.
The new Apple Store is said to be the biggest in the world, bigger than the 25,000-square-foot Regent Street store in London. Apple executives plan to unveil the store ahead of the Black Friday day of shopping, the biggest shopping day in America.
The store, which is expected to employ near about 300 employees, will be the fifth one that Apple opens in Manhattan and its 358th store in the world. The new Apple Store will be one of the busiest Apple Stores in the world, with the Grand Central Station getting more than 700,000 footfalls every single day. The footfalls are expected to reach one million during the holiday season.
Apple is expected to deviate from its all-white Apple Store design to accommodate the look and feel of the historic Grand Central Station.
