The new Xbox 360 dashboard is currently under beta testing by some gamers. The new dashboard interface will be identical to Windows Phone 7 and will be introduced on December 6th 2011.
The new dashboard will have Bing voice and YouTube search, additional Kinect's voice recognition features, better and deeper integration with Facebook and cloud storage functionality which users have had to wait a long time for.
In fact, before Christmas, contents from nearly 40 new media partners from over 20 nations will be added to it.
BBC, Channel 4, Lovefilm, Verizon and HBO are some of the partners providing a mix of live along with on-demand TV, sports, movies and music compiled in what Microsoft terms as "a new era in television," as reported by Computerandvideogames.com.
According to Microsoft, the new dashboard follows the philosophy, "All the entertainment you want, with the people you care about, made easy."
The most interesting and attractive feature of the Xbox 360 dashboard is the better integration with Kinect that is Microsoft's very successful voice and motion controller add-on, as reported by Tech Radar.
