Google Homepage Bar Gets an Upgrade

The familiar horizontal black bar at the top of home pages of all Google sites has been replaced with a milky-fresh new bar to be released soon.

The latest Google bar occupies the same amount of space as the Google logo and search box most of the search giant's products.

The new bar will provide users with one or two click accessibility to any Google services via a drop-down menu.

Technical lead at Google, Eddie Kessler said, "We're now ready for the next stage of our redesign - a new Google bar that will enable you to navigate quickly between our services, as well as share the right stuff with the right people easily on Google+."

Kessler added, "Instead of the horizontal black bar at the top of the page, you'll now find links to your services in a new drop-down Google menu nested under the Google logo," as reported by Venture Beat.

This new bar is very exciting for those who want to be able to quickly and easily move from Google service to Google service without having to search for the appropriate tabs. The new bar should be released for public use soon.
