When it comes to promoting the official accessories associated with the potential iPad killer Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet, ASUS is leaving absolutely no stone unturned. The latest is a brand new video demo released to showcase the company's Transformer Prime Sleeve.
The Transformer Prime Sleeve is primarily aimed at protecting the touch screen of the Tegra 3 powered tablet, and to make typing or accessing multimedia content easier for users.
As seen in the video, the design of this new product will be pretty different from key rival Apple's Smart Cover design - thanks to more complex folds the Taiwanese semiconductor giant incorporated into it.
"Whereas the iPad 2 Smart Cover simply rolls up, ASUS' cover flexes into a more complicated 3D shape to prop the Transformer Prime in place," noted Chris Davies of the technology site SlashGear in his report.
Only the entry model of the Transformer Prime with 32 GB memory and no physical keypad is available in the market as of now. The full feature model, likely to hit the market soon, will be equipped with 64 GB memory as well as a physical keypad.
