Noon News: All Tesco Extra Stores Offer Free Wi-Fi, Sony Stripping Off Ericsson, Mozilla Google Search Deal

Tesco, earlier this year started a free wi-fi trial in its Extra stores and now after its huge success Tesco has started to roll out free Wi-Fi throughout all the Extra stores. Shoppers will be able to access free Wi-Fi facility in more than 200 Tesco Extra Stores spread all over the country.

After more than a decade of strong association, Sony is dropping Ericsson by mid of 2012. This move will give Sony its own cellphone brand. In the month of October, Sony, the electronics giant acquired Ericsson's share of their mobile phone division which, led to the anticipation that sooner or later the association will be broken. Sony in the October deal invested around $1.5 billion.

For many years, Google search has been used as the default search engine on Mozilla's Firefox that resulted in great "royalty payments" for Mozilla. The deal that bound Mozilla with Google has expired in the month of November.

Microsoft, recently, announced Service Pack 2 for Exchange Server 2010, now available for download. Besides bug fixes there are many exciting features that have been made available with the new updates.
