Oracle announced the company is revamping its WebLogic Server 12c, which includes enhancements for its cloud computing service. The company declared the latest version of their Java app server will allow enterprises better integration of cloud computing into the company's IT mix.
The primary focus of Oracle's Cloud Application Foundation, and also an important part of the Oracle Fusion Middleware products, Oracle WebLogic Server is popular and considered efficient in delivering very innovative capacities for deploying, building and running Java Platform along with Enterprise Edition (Java EE) applications.
The revamped version has various enhancements for helping customers and partners to decrease their overall cost of partnership and also get better value from the present app infrastructure. And, at the same time, the company wants to accelerate the cycle of development and reduce time for marketing the apps, as reported by eWeek.
The company confirmed this latest version has seamless upgrades from their previous WebLogic Server 11g.
"Oracle WebLogic Server 12c is exactly what I have been waiting for," said Markus Eisele, a German software architect and consultant.
