Late News: BlackBerry Bold 9790, Google Chrome 16, Microsoft Kinectimals for iOS, SkyDrive App

UK retailer, Mobilefun, has put the newly released RIM Blackberry Bold 9790 on preorder for £400, with the expected release date on January 9th. The smartphone was released on the 15th of November (Rob Kerr previewed it here with some very nice pictures) and combines the signature portrait RIM Blackberry QWERTY keyboard with a touchscreen display.

Google Inc. has recently launched version 16 of the Chrome web browser that will enable multiple user accounts. This means now the users can sign-in using different accounts and each of them will have their own add-ons, history, bookmarks along with web apps.

Microsoft has released a game for iOS platform called "Kinectimals" following the success of previously released apps such as Windows Live Messenger, Bing for Apple iPad, Xbox Live client for iPhone. The "Kinectimals" game is available for just $2.99.

Microsoft is on a mission to roll out more and more applications and services for iOS based iPad and iPhone. The most recent is the SkyDrive which is Microsoft Corp. consumer cloud service which was launched yesterday for iPhone and iPad.

Final Fantasy developer and publisher Square Enix has announced that its member services have been hacked - though the company claims that credit card details have not been compromised.
