Microsoft Releases 'Kinectimals' for iOS Devices

Microsoft has released a game for iOS platform called "Kinectimals" following the success of previously released apps such as Windows Live Messenger, Bing for Apple iPad, Xbox Live client for iPhone. The "Kinectimals" game is available for just $2.99.

Kinectimals is the new addition in game-related apps of Microsoft like Halo Waypoint, Crafting Guide for Age of Empires Online besides the Xbox Live companion app. The new app replaces the function of titular motion control of the console based game and the game's mobile version utilises touch-screen of iOS devices for interaction.

The game is available in the form of universal binary for iPad as well as iPhone and invites gamers to, "use your phone to visit the island of Lemuria and play with, care for and fall in love with your very own cub", reported 9 to 5 Mac.

The company also launched their own SkyDrive cloud solution for iOS. It is now available in 32 languages and enables users to access files from SkyDrive virtual folder. By using this new cloud solution user can also upload images from iPad touch and iPhone to SkyDrive.
