Motorola Xoom 2 / Droid Xyboard 10.1 Android Honeycomb tablet - unboxing and hands on video walkthrough

ITPP is now publishing an unboxing and hands on walk through video of the latest tablet from Motorola, known as the Xoom 2 or Droid Xyboard 10.1 in America.

Earlier on today we brought out an unboxing and hands on picture set to compliment this video here, all with a view to whet your appetite before we run any more coverage of the Xoom's replacement.

The original WIFI based tablet from Moto arrived with a dual core 1GHz CPU, where the Xoom 2 ships with a dual core 1.2GHz variant and the same 1GB of RAM.

The initial Xoom came with 32GB of internal storage, with microSD card slot for further expansion - which has been dropped in the Xoom 2, along with reducing the capacity to 16GB and therefore lowering cost.

Motorola's Xoom 2 has a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, where the first device arrived with a 2MP version but both have a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera that is capable of 720p HD video capture.
