Odd and Interesting Topics on Google's Zeitgeist

The royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton held back in April, 2011 has been named as the ‘fastest-rising' event searched by Google users in the UK this year.

According to the lists on Google's latest "Zeitgeist," the royal wedding, the latest installment in the Twilight movie series, a briefly-wedded celeb and a television series were at the top of the lists of fastest-rising search items in the UK.

The royal wedding earned the top spot beating out the iPhone 5 in the annual survey to see which things kept the majority of people occupied. Interestingly, the Apple iPhone 5 was just a rumour and not an actual product.
