Samsung may soon launch an Android smartphone with dual SIM capabilities.
According to an article on GSM Arena, there are rumours the company is preparing to launch a dual SIM version of its Galaxy Y Pro smartphone.
Rumours were confirmed when a GSM Arena reader, with access to a prototype of the device, sent two screen shots.
The first screen shot shows the back of the device with the cover on. The second shows two SIM card slots beneath the battery. The two SIM slots are accompanied with a micro SD memory card slot as well.
The dual SIM version of Galaxy Y Pro is expected to have the same features as the first version. The Samsung Galaxy Y Pro features a 2.6 inch display with a 320x240 resolution, Android 2.3 with TouchWiz, 832Mhz processor and a 3.15 MP camera.
The Galaxy Y Pro, like other Samsung Galaxy series smartphones, was popular among consumers, so the next generation will likely receive the same warm welcome.The Galaxy smartphone series has helped Samsung become the largest mobile phone maker in the United States.
