AMNews: iTunes Match in UK, Chrome Surpasses Internet Explorer, Flash Player for Android Ice Cream Sandwich

Apple has finally launched its iTunes Match feature in the UK marketplace. The iTunes Match is a feature in the company's iCloud platform - the online storage facility that allows iOS users to store songs, videos, images and other files to access them anytime, from any location with any iOS running device, or even from Macs or a Windows PC.

Google's Web browser, Chrome, has reportedly surpassed arch rival Microsoft's Internet Explorer 8 in terms of popularity amongst users across the globe. The revelation has come from a study carried out by StatCounter which shows that during the last couple of weeks in November and 1st week of December Chrome's market share in the global browser market rose to 24 per cent.

The UK government has set a deadline for English councils that expressed their desires to roll out high speed Internet connectivity. According to new and confirmed reports, the councils must apply before February next year to go ahead any further with their demand for government cash.

Adobe has launched Flash Player v. 11.1, equipped with support for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This new offering has certainly brought some much needed good news for owners of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus who have been using their devices without flash support ever since it was launched.

Zoho has announced a huge update to its customer relationship management SaaS platform. The company said it had updated the on-demand Zoho CRM platform with four new features and major user interface enhancements, as reported by ComputerWorld.
