It seems that the Nokia N8 will soon be graced with a Symbian Belle upgrade as a newer version of the Belle ROM has surfaced on the web.
According to GSM Arena, the Belle ROM leak, which is incidentally the second one, comes with new features and is much more stable that the previously leaked ROM.
The leak offers Belle ROM version 111.030.609 which is newer than the Belle ROM leaked for the Nokia C7 sometime ago. The ROM comes with new widgets for the smartphone and works great with N8's 680 MHz processor.
Users can download the leaked ROM from here but, are advised they implement it on their own risk as it is not the official version.
Speaking of the official version, there is no indication from Nokia when the device will receive the highly awaited Symbian Belle update, the last Symbian version to be released by Nokia as it ventures into the less chartered areas with Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system.
Nokia recently released its first Windows Phone powered smartphones in the US and European markets and initial reactions are informing that the device has failed to capture the imagination of users the way iPhone and Android devices have.
