HTC 49p movie rental for Christmas starts today

Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer High Tech Computer Corporation has announced that their HTC Watch service is now retailing movies for just 49p, until December 31st.

HTC has produced this sale over the holiday season, for their handsets owner to take a break from the stress of Christmas shopping and to treat themselves to a favourite feel good classic or new release - in their own words.

The movies on HTC Watch range in cost, where the titles such as Thor and Transformers: Darks of the moon are still pricesd at £3.49 to rent.

HTC now has 175 films to be rented inside of their Watch movie service at this low cost, which directly competes with Google's own Android mobile rental service and has been disabled on the Taiwanese outfit devices as a result.

Out of these 49p movies are a number of them within the Top 10, such as The Hangover Part 2, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and Horrible Bosses.

Accessing these films from an HTC device is very easy; simply launch the Watch app on an HTC phone and login to the Watch account to start seeing what's on offer and start downloading today.
