HTC's top of the range handset, the Sensation XE, is currently on offer at Dialaphone for as little as £21.50 per month on a two year contract with an upfront fee of £17.74.
The deal on O2 comes with 100 minutes and 500 texts as well as 500MB data and unlimited Wi-Fi. As per former O2 deals, its value lies in the fact that you can downgrade it and grab a cheap top of the range handset for under £340.
First you will need to remove the data allowance online via your O2 dashboard immediately after the SIM is activated, that will remove £6 from your monthly fee or £138 over the duration of your contract.
Then after 12 months, swap the contract for a cheaper one, removing another £60 for the last 12 months, bringing down the the allowance to 50 minutes and 250 texts.
As mentioned before, the deal is for the handset which will be locked on O2 (or Giffgaff or Tesco Mobile) but is £70 cheaper than the equivalent SIM Free smartphone.
The handset comes with a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon handset clocked at 1.5GHz, 16GB onboard storage, a 1730mAh battery, an eight megapixel camera, a 4.3-inch qHD display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and more. You can find a review of the HTC Sensation XE courtesy of ITReviews.
