HTC has announced that it is offering bootloader unlockers for all HTC smartphones launched after September 2011.
The Taiwan based technology giant is reportedly busy updating the product pages of all the devices that have made it into the tally so far.
Devices eligible for bootloader unlockers include Amaze 4G, EVO 3D, Flyer, Sensation and many more. The full list of smartphones eligible can be obtained from the official HTC website.
"We have heard your voice and starting now, we will allow our bootloader to be unlocked for 2011 models going forward," the company stated during the announcement about the new offering, PCR Online reports.
It is worth noting here that the bootloader unlocker for certain Android devices from the company has been offered already from unofficial third party sources.
There are certain devices, however, such as the TELUS HC Amaze, which did not make the list of devices to be getting the unlockers.
The TELUS HTC Amaze was launched over a months back in October of this year and just barely missed the deadline. Maybe at some point in the future unlockers will be available.
