Hewlett Packard has launched a new marketing campaign under which it is offering to print users' Twitter wishes on hot air balloons and launch them.
According to the company, users will have to submit their Twitter wishes on the TwitterWisher website using the hashtag ‘#everybody2012'. They will then be able to view a live stream of the hot air balloons launching into the air. Posts made directly on Twitter will not be taken into consideration by the company.
The balloons, which will be launched from the company's Dubai headquarters in Dubai Internet City, will have a unique code. People who find a HP TwitterWisher balloon will be able to enter the code on the website, using the ‘I Found One' button, which will allow the company to plot the location on a map.
"Technology has allowed people to connect in so many ways," said Suad Merchant, Marketing Manager, Personal Systems Group, HP Middle East told AME Info.
"The HP TwitterWisher lets people spread good cheer and wishes and connect with people all over the world as we cross over into a new year together," he added. This is an exciting for those on Twitter who want to participate.
