US wireless carrier Verizon has managed to fix the third outage for December in its network, which left several users in some major US cities unable to access 4G data services.
The company informed its angry customers that it had fixed the issue plaguing the high speed data network overnight, on Twitter.
The latest outage was the third in the month of December, the first one being in the first week of the month while the other happened during the previous week. The data services offered by the company affected during the outages.
During this outage, some people had also claimed that they were unable to access the 3G network as well, while a defiant Verizon maintained that the 3G network was not affected by the outages.
Verizon, which paints itself as the most reliable around, also ticked off customers due to its apparent lack of communication with the customers affected by the outages. The company is yet to give a solid reason why the outages have been happening.
"Each incident has been different from a technical standpoint. Our engineers have successfully diagnosed those past triggering events, and they have not re-occurred. We also work diligently to rectify technical problems in the Network before they affect any customers." the company had said in a statement yesterday.
