TalkTalk, in an effort to get more people to subscribe for their cell phone services, has declared that by this spring they will launch a handset along with contract offer. At present, they have SIM only and data products to offer customers.
To boost their subscriber list, TalkTalk has hired former head of direct trading at O2, Dan Meader, who has had a very impressive career and is widely experienced.
Meader will be looking after sales performance of the retail, online and voice channels. Meader spent almost a decade with O2 holding various positions related to commerce as well as finance and also worked with Worldcom and BT, reports Mobile Today.
Commercial director at TalkTalk, Tristia Clarke, stated, 'We're established as the value player in phone and broadband and we've been able to bring those principles to our MVNO partnership with Vodafone."
About the new venture to be started soon, the commercial director stated that since they launched the SIM-only offer, now the company is ready for contract range and handsets at a cost which will "appeal to TalkTalk customers. This is very exciting for customers who want to continue receiving quality service.
