Acer has finally revealed the latest Iconia Tab A200 which will hit stores on January 15th. The device will cost $329.99 and come with Android Honeycomb, but will soon get an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich make-over.
On January 5th, the company officially confirmed the budget friendly tablet will be made available soon. Unlike any other device, the titanium-gray A200 device weighs around 1.5 pounds and has a High Definition multi-touch display with 1280 x 800 resolution.
The tablet will be powered by NVIDIATegra 2 Dual-Core mobile processor and GeForce GPU. The configuration seems perfect for a gaming tablet, reports eWeek.
The latest device is a follow up of the A500 currently available in the US and it has Acer's Ring interface. Thus, users can mix and match their favourite applications. The company also claims the device will have 8 hours of battery life and come with a USB 2.0 port, Micro-USB port and Micro SD slot.
The 8GB version of A200 will cost $329.99. For $349.99, customers can purchase the 16GB version. This device will most likely be displayed at the Consumer Electronics Show to be held next week.
