Polaroid May Unveil Tablet, eReader at CES 2012

As Consumer Electronics Show 2012 is underway, companies are all set to show to the world what they have and one of such company is Polaroid. Even though the company has not yet confirmed its tablet, according to reports Polaroid will be unveiling its Android tablet as well as a colour eReader at the CES this year.

The most interesting aspect of the device according to various reports is that Polaroid is focusing on camera abilities of the device, pitching it as a ‘tablet+camera'.

The company has kept all the details under wrap but a leaked image shows that the device might be powered by Honeycomb or Ice Cream Sandwich version of Google's Android operating system.

Even though no words have been heard from the company, probably both the devices the tablet as well as the eReader might be attacking Amazon's highly successful Kindle fire. The image also speaks that the company might market one of the devices as tablet-cum-camera hybrid having a front as well as rear flashes along with snappers, reported Engadget.
