AMNews: Cut the Rope Browser Version, BlackBerry OS 7.1 Update, Sony Xperia S on Three UK

Microsoft disclosed that the company will very soon offer a browser version of the popular mobile game Cut The Rope. It will come with set of special levels that can be accessed only by Internet Explorer 9 users - they can also pin this game in the Windows 7 task bar.

Research in Motion has demoed the BlackBerry 7.1 OS and updates to some of its proprietary apps at the on-going International Consumer Electronics Show. The company announced the software update for BlackBerry 7.1 OS will start rolling out to customers today and will reach everyone within the next few weeks.

UK mobile phone operator Three has announced it will offer the newly unveiled Sony Xperia S on its network soon. The device, one of the first to be launched under the new Sony moniker, was launched by the company at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

A Windows 7 based pack of applications for the iPad has been announced by OnLive, primarily known for its cloud game-streaming service, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. "OnLive Desktop is the first app to deliver a no-compromise, media-rich Windows desktop experience to iPad, opening up powerful new possibilities for consumers and businesses," OnLive Founder and CEO Steve Perlman said.

Sony's press conference at the Consumer Electronics Show every year is one of the most anticipated and highlighted part of this international event. This year Sony managed to put on a great show with the help of filmstar Will Smith. During the conference, the company launched the latest TV technology Crystal LED.
