Asus Transformer Prime has not reached UK markets yet, but its Ice Cream Sandwich updates has recently arrived. The roll out of the updates has been initiated recently and very soon all the Asus Transformer Prime tablets will be getting the updates.
A week ago, the Taiwanese peripheral and computer manufacturing Asus through a blog post in their Twitter account revealed that, "Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich coming to the @ASUS #TransformerPrime starting Jan 12th!," from Twitter.
The company, which launched the quad core Transformer Prime tablet with Google's Android "Honeycomb" 3.2 version, promised that soon the Ice Cream Sandwich updates will be rolled out. This is the the second product to receive the latest Android platform. Until now, it is only Samsung Galaxy Nexus that was powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Interestingly, a successor to the Asus Transformer Prime tablet was announced at the CES 2012. The 7 inch latest version is fully loaded and has 1080p HD display. To be powered by Ice Cream Sandwich, the new TF700T is a Tegra 3 quad core toting hybrid tablet. And it will ensure amazing display quality with WUXGA a full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution screen.
