UK mobile phone operator Three has announced it will offer the newly unveiled Sony Xperia S on its network soon.
The device, one of the first to be launched under the new Sony moniker, was launched by the company at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The Sony Xperia S comes with a 4.3 inch HD display powered by the Mobile Bravia engine. The device also features a 12 MP rear camera capable of HD video recording. The 12MP camera also comes with support for Exmore R image sensor technology which takes fine pictures in low light.
Interestingly, the camera in the front of the device, meant for video conferencing, is also capable of shooting video at 720p HD.
Sony has equipped the device with a dual core 1.5 Ghz processor to provide great web browsing experience and fast multi-tasking.

Plus, with an impressive 12 megapixel camera, it's perfect for fast-fingered photographers who want to upload images straight onto Facebook making the most of Three's fast 3G network," said Sylvia Chind, head of handsets at Three.
