News Corporation has announced that they are introducing various applications on Microsoft's Xbox 360 which will provide paid subscribers access to numerous TV shows, video contents as well as news from global brands like Fox and Wall Street Journal.
Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. is all set to bring the new apps on Xbox Live platform only for those consumers who have signed up for Gold subscription package available for £39.99 per year.
The corporation stated that Fox apps video content will have Fox News along with Fox TV channel and consumers will get access to many primetime shows like Glee, Family Guy, House and also The Simpsons, reported The Guardian.
The Gold package subscribers who happen to be "authenticated subscribers of participating cable and satellite television distributors" can only enjoy this new facility.
These subscribers will get access to seven half-hour live shows, coverage of various special events and of course news updates. In fact, they will also have 2,000 videos every month available for them in archive on demand content.
