Norton Ink Partners with Texas Instruments; Develops Norton Ink Adam II Tablet

Notion Ink has made an announcement stating the company has joined forces with Texas Instruments, to design the new Adam II tablet device. The company has also disclosed some key specs featured in the forthcoming device.

The Notron Ink Adam II tablet will be powered by the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform and will run on the powerful TI OMAP 4400 dual core processor.

Interestingly, the tech community has anticipated that the new device would be announced some time during December 201. However, fans were disappointed after not hearing anything concrete from the company. But then, as they say - better late than never, and that's precisely the case with this latest device confirmation.

In addition, the Notion Ink Adam II will also feature the PowerVR SGx500 GPU as well as an advanced memory architecture. The company also brags that the new Modular Based Software Architecture will make it easier for developers to come up with new applications, reports Zee News.

The company refrained from disclosing when the much awaited device will finally be hitting the market, however. With so many new and wonderful features, many people will find this tablet worth waiting for.
