Those with an Asus Transformer Prime tablet will now be able to play the classic sandbox shooter, Grand Theft Auto 3 - the game that revolutionised the series.
GTA III was previously ported to the iPad as part of the 10th anniversary of the game's release, letting Apple users get a taste of cop shooting, prostitute beating action - though if you've owned a Mac, you'd have been able to play the game sand touch screen controls since the end of 2010.
Rockstar have improved the list of supported controllers as well, allowing gamers to make use of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. Know your Mobile reports that the latest update of the game also makes it possible to use the Gamestop wireless controller and the Medion Lifetab.
Grand Theft Auto 3 was the first three dimensional game in the series, with the original and its sequel being top down shooters. Set in a modern day Liberty City - a metropolis loosely baed on New York City - the player is capable of running, gunning and driving their way through a main plot line as well as many side missions. Of course the main draw for many with a game like this is simply loading up on weapons, armour and health and sitting atop a building, gunning down anyone that tries to mess with them.
Anyone wanting to pick up the GTA classic from the Android marketplace will have to shell out the monumental price of £2.99. That's the price of a decent sandwich. Sandwich or hooker killing. Hmm!
