Nokia Outs New Beta of MeeGo N9 OS

Few days ago Nokia released the new MeeGo PR1.2 beta version for the Nokia N950 developer device, where the change log has been made available now.

The beta version has app folders, 5 latest language, lockscreen music control, extended copy and paste support, front camera support and amongst other additions. In addition, it is also equipped with a range of bug fixes and tweaks.

Some of the most noticeable improvements introduced by the N9 PR1.2 beta version are: notifications of software update for content in Nokia Store, folder support in app view, compass support for maps, face tags for Facebook and face recognition for gallery.

Also included are an email client mail thread support, video editing support for the Gallery app, latest font taken into use, sharing of media files with DLNA compatible devices, playlists creating ability in the music player, audiobook as well as podcast support for music player, and many more impressive changes, reported GSM Arena.

The changes that the beta version brings will definitely prove to be very beneficial for the Nokia N950 developer device. The owners of the device can adopt this latest beta version however, once it is implemented there is no moving back to 1.1 MeeGo stated the official Nokia developer blog.
