T-Mobile has slashed the contract cost of the Prada 3.0 by LG smartphone to £25 per month, or just over £600 for the total cost of ownership. The previous cheapest offer was £31 monthly from Vodafone and O2. The phone was launched in December and is the latest product manufactured by LG in collaboration with Italian luxury designer Prada.
The package - which is available from BuyMobilePhones - includes 600 minutes, 500 texts, 500MB data allowance with unlimited web and email, but no Wi-Fi or tethering, all for £25 per month after a £10 discount.
The Prada 3.0 by LG runs on a TI OMAP4430 dual core chipset clocked at 1GHz with 1GB RAM, 8GB onboard storage, an eight megapixel camera, full HD video recording, a front-facing camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, HSPA+ and a 4.3-inch NOVA plus display with a WVGA resolution.
The phone - which one could consider as the spiritual son of the LG Optimus Black - is likely to face some serious competition from the likes of the HTC Evo 3D, which can be had SIM Free for just under £250.
T-Mobile also sells the phone on a shorter 18 month contract with 900 minutes and the same number of texts and data for £35 per month.
