With Microsoft Office 15 software entering the Technical Preview phase, a handful of customers have already been treated to a sneak preview of it, revealed a new report.
A few select customers, bound by a non disclosure agreement have been chosen to provide feedback to the Redmond based software giant Microsoft at the Technical Preview, allowing the company to test this latest software without the need to unveil its features or any other details.
Microsoft Office is the codename of most probably Windows Office 2012 or 2013, and its public beta version is due to be released this summer, however, the exact date of its release has not been revealed yet by the company.
Even though the company has not officially said anything about this software, Vice President of Development for Office, PJ Hough, posted in the official Office blog that this will be "the most ambitious undertaking yet for the Office Division".
Hough also disclosed that "With Office 15, for the first time ever, we will simultaneously update our cloud services, servers, and mobile and PC clients for Office, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, Project, and Visio,"
Office 15 will also have include a few Metro-style enhancements for the Windows 8 tablet computers; the software giant has not confirmed anything to date.
