Nokia is making endeavours to create a foothold in the Australian smartphone market with its amazing Lumia 800 windows phone this March. Optus, Telstra, and Vodafone will all stock the Nokia Lumia 800 and will be available in black, cyan, magenta and white within all major retailers.
Whilst Nokia is yet to declare a sale price in Australia, it is expected to be released as a range of competitive deals based on the previous Lumia launches in other countries.
For Australia, the introduction of the white Lumia 800 is huge news for the country's awaiting fans - where this colour hasn't been released elsewhere in the world. However, it's not clear whether the white will feature as gloss or matte to match the rest of the Lumia 800 collection.
Though Nokia has hinted that they are capable of creating yellow and white Lumia 800 colours, no confirmation has been made to date.
According to The Verge (opens in new tab), the yellow variant looks like a good possibility right now, given the availability of white in Australia. According to a report, the existing range of Nokia Lumia 800 handsets offer a delightful smartphone experience thanks to its design, navigation and camera quality as well as the latest Windows Phone services including out of the box integrated social networking, access to Marketplace apps and Xbox gaming.
With all this information, it is evident that Nokia will really create a wave in the Australian market, with its white Lumia 800 launch.
