Google paid a eulogy to the legendary filmmaker François Truffaut on his 80th birthday, by featuring three awe inspiring images on Google doodle.
Truffaut was an extremely creative and talented person. His uninhibited thinking created a benchmark for the other success aspiring film makers in the industry. Truffaut earned his degree in film making from provocative film critic. His inspiring works include films like "Les Quatre Cents Coups" and "Jules et Jim". He was honoured with Oscar award in the category of Best Foreign Film in 1973, for his commendable masterpiece, named "La nuit americaine".
François Truffaut silently admired many US film directors. His penchant list of directors he liked included Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg. Another amazing work which gifted Truffaut his first confront with camera was - "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".
Truffaut wanted to project himself as a director with newness in thinking and a dynamic approach, in which he succeeded to a large extent. François was diagnosed with brain tumour and his health started deteriorating when he was in his 40s. He died in 1984 at the age of 52.
