HP Paves Way for Partners to Profit from Cloud Services

Hewlett-Packard has announced a bunch of new programs and solutions designed specifically for enabling its channel partners to expand their services and cloud revenues.

The new offering dubbed ‘HP PartnerONE' will help the company's partners embrace the promising world of cloud computing, HP claimed. The program was first unveiled the company at this year's edition of the HP Global Partner Conference.

The company brags that this new cloud specialisation and collaboration program has been dished out in order to cater to all requirements of its channel partners for beefing up their sales and help them reach an entirely new level.

As per the findings of a recent independent survey commissioned by HP, the cloud computing market will be hitting the $143 billion milestone by 2013 - needless to say, that's too luscious of an opportunity for its partners to overlook. The survey also concluded how partners were looking for broader cloud solutions that would include both software and services, in addition to setting up a platform for greater collaboration amongst themselves.

"To capitalise on cloud and services opportunities, channel partners need programs that align with their business strategies," Kirsten McCrabb, vice president, Worldwide Channels Marketing, Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking, HP said in a statement.
