We manage to get hold of some more details, from an anonymous source based in the UK, about HTC's forthcoming trio of smartphones under the "One" family which will be launched on the 26th of February, at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona.
Perhaps the most interesting tidbit is the fact that the top of the range smartphones at HTC will come with microSIM rather than normal SIM slots, perhaps to entice existing iPhone users to jump ship.
According to our source, all the HTC handsets will come to the UK in Q2; as other rumours/leaks have purported, the HTC One S will have a 4.3-inch touchscreen and the One X will come with an even bigger 4.7-inch one; both will come with an eight megapixel camera.
The One S will come in grey while the One X will sport black and white colours. As for the One V, otherwise known as the Primo, it will have a five megapixel camera and be available only in black.
In effect, the One X will replace the Sensation XL (which oddly enough HTC's website is listing as "new" and "coming soon"), while the One S will the original Sensation and the Primo could be the shoo-in successor for the Wildfire S.
ITProPortal.com will be at the Mobile World Congress from Saturday evening and will be bringing you back all the details from the event (assuming the ongoing transport strike doesn't make things rubbish).
