Viewsonic To Unveil New Windows Powered Tablet Called ViewPad P100

Viewsonic will announced another tablet at Mobile World Congress next week, the ViewPad P100, which will come with Windows 7 Professional.

The tablet will feature a 10-inch 1280x800 pixels capacitive touchscreen IPS display and runs on an Intel N2600 processor which is clocked at 1.6GHz and has two cores.

Other expected features include 1GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB onboard storage, Wi-Fi, optional 3G, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth.

It has two cameras and is clearly targeting business and corporate clients. Viewsonic hasn't confirmed when it will launch, where and for how much. It is likely that the tablet will also run Windows 8 when it goes live.

Last year, Viewsonic launched the ViewPad 10Pro 3G which came with both Android and Windows 7 Pro. Like the ViewPad p100, it had a 10.1-inch 1024x600 pixels display and cost nearly £500 will be live-blogging from Barcelona from Saturday evening, covering the pre-MWC 2012 events happening on Sunday and from Monday to Thursday, the event itself.
